During my 3rd Year of study I had the privilege of being taking part in a work placement with Postformed Systems in Ballincollig, Co. Cork from January to March of 2023. Here I gained valuable insight into the inner workings of the production of furniture and fittings, whilst also gaining first hand design experience.

This mandatory placement took place over 5 weeks between January and March of 2023. It took place at Postformed Systems in Ballincollig. They specialised in the production and fitting of cubicle systems and also in bespoke furniture design.
Job Description
Whilst working at Postformed Systems I mainly worked as an interior design architect intern and focused on planning the renovation of the company's own office.
