4th Year: Manor Mill Events Venue
This is my final year design studio project. This page showcases my conceptual development right up to my completed final year exhibition drop presentation. This studio brief calls for the renovation of a mill building into a function missing from its current locality.
My proposed function for this building is for a cocktail bar and events venue which are function being sorely missed in its local town of Clonmel. My concept for this building derived from my visit to site at night, my concept centres around the prospect of our future being written before us, predestination and kismet. Ultimately, that each event we find ourselves in in our lives has already been 'written in the stars' and the stars aligning so that we are exactly where we are meant to be.
