Ciara Winston

Interior Design Architect

My name is Ciara Winston and I am 24 years old. I am a conscientious, hardworking, creative thinker with a passion for design and architecture.

I recently graduated with a BSc (Hons) Interior Architecture from Munster Technological University, earning a Second Class Honours Grade 1.

I am currently based in Waterford , Ireland working part-time as a design assistant but I am interested in moving abroad to pursue a full-time career as an Interior Design Architect in January of 2025.

Why Interiors?

What initially drew me to the world of interior architecture and design was the prospect of making beautiful spaces in the world.

Also, over these last few years whilst studying and practicing design principles for my degree I have truly begun to appreciate the profound impact that our everyday spaces have on us as people and how creativity and artistry can influence the world around us for the better.

Partook in client consultations and follow up meetings
Attended daily site visits to ongoing projects and team meetings
Project managed and lead designer for the renovation of an AirBnB
Presented design options to clients
Dealt with procurement and communicating with stockists
Preparing and organising final photoshoots of completed projects

Postformed Systems | Student Intern

Created 2D and 3D Drawings of products being manufactured
Assisted in the renovation and reorganisation of the production factory floor
Redesigned the office layout and showroom for Postformed Systems

Hobbies & Interests

My interests and hobbies range from volunteering, exploring, reading and travelling.

I am an avid reader and classic book collector. I can often be found in a café or on the beach with a book in hand.

I volunteer with clubs close to my heart like assisting with my old dance school. I enjoy helping them to prepare for their Disneyland Paris: Onstage performance in Summers, like I did as a teenager. I also assist with my local Dolphins Paralympic swimming club when available.

The last few years I have really found a passion for weekend travelling and photography. I never turn down a chance to explore the world, meet people and photograph what I see along the way.
